Dr. Dominik Duka.OP, the Arch Bishop of Prague of Czech-Republic along with the team members Fr. Powel, Hanna and Dusan. His grace thanked Fr.James for his works of evangelisation in the Arch Diocese, and encouraged and blessed him for his works of evangelisation around the world. This meeting was very important as Fr. James is going to conduct several retreats in his arch diocese in the coming year. There are some Photos

Marienfried. Pfaffenhofen - Alemania. Noviembre 19 - 21. 2010 Fr. J ames conducted a "married couples retreat at Marienfried, Germany from 19th to 21st. Some 80 couples attended the retreat. Richie and family was there to translate and to sing.
The couples were very happy to have such a retreat where they could again renew their vows and commitments in married life and begin a new life correcting the past mistakes. There were exchange of rings and pronouncement of vows to each other. At the end Gaby gave to each couple a large photo of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and a prayer of consecration and Fr. James instructed them to keep the picture in the middle of the house and to say the prayers everyday.

Fr. Marcin arranged the programme so well with priests for confessions and team for singing. Jagwiga and Agnieszka translated the talks of Fr. James. All those who attended the retreat made confessions, some even after 35 or 40 years !! One man testified that he hated the church for 40 years and for such a long time he never went to any church programme. There were many beautiful stories of conversions and new life. On the 2nd day of the retreat Bishop of Pila, Rt Rev. Edward came to the prison to celebrate Mass with the prisoners. He had been to this prison a few weeks ago to give confirmations to those needed. He is a bishop who loves Fr.James personally. He told him, "please don't forget my diocese in your international programme of continous preaching, but come and preach in my diocese as often as you can". In his homily he publically made his appreciation of his preaching. He said that he was surprised that Fr. James who attratcts thousands in various parts of the world, came to a small group of prisoners. At the end of the retreat, the prisoners gave gifts to Fr.James (see in the photos), one a replica of a prison and another an icon of the Bl. Virgin of Chestahowa with the favorite words of Pope John Paul "Totus Tuus". On the first day at Lunch, the Superintent of the prison, Mr.Tadeus met Fr. James personally to thank him (see the photo).

At the end ,representatives of each group expressed words of thanks. Also they wrote a beatiful letter (you can see that too here). The prisoners unanimously asked Fr. James to come agin next year to preach to them . It was a new experience for Fr. James, Gaby and team to preach to the prisoners in Poland, although he had preached to prisoners in India, Sri.Lanka, Croatia,& else where. Fr.James and Gaby stayed in the rooms in the prison itself with very minimum convenience. Fr.James gave each prisoner a gift of his book " Behold He Knocks" and Dr.Richie (Gaby's son) gave them each a copy of the complete Bible  in Polish. On the last day at noon, along with other priests, Fr. James visited some prisoners who were not allowed by the law to go out of thier rooms although they wanted to come to the retreat.!!I  It is with great satisfaction that Fr. James left the prison after preaching, agreeing to Fr. Marcin to go there again next year. There are some photos here. As they are prisoners, we dont show their identity in the photos.

Three days in prison World famous priest from India has conducted a retreat at the Correctional Facility in Czarne. Photo by Daniel Frymark Father James Manjackal is a world famous charismatic priest. He has been preaching the Word of God for almost 35 years, having visited over 90 countries. His retreats are usually combined with prayers for healing. In total, he spent three days with the prisoners.  Fr.James Manjackal says, “It’s very important to preach in such places because a lot of prisoners live without forgiveness, sometimes in sin which they had committed in the past. So we, Christians, have a duty to preach the Word of God and bring the peace of Christ to them. I preach God’s love.” “I have been preparing the prisoners for this retreat for two months”, says the Prison Chaplain, Fr. Marcin Górski, who invited Fr. James to the prison. “Well, he is a world famous priest with regard to the charismatic ministry. If he agreed to come, one had to seize the opportunity and simply extend the invitation. I believe that after each such meeting they come out spiritually enriched. If they search, that is, as all depends on the individual. If one opens up and wants to benefit, then the Word brings some results, bears some fruits in the lives of these people.” “I have been waiting for this meeting for a long time”, says one of the prisoners, Kazimierz.  “I have been in this prison for quite some time. Actually, I awaited this meeting very eagerly. It has had a very positive effect on the listeners who participated in this retreat. That is why when I first heard about it from our Chaplain, I was  very eager to attend the retreat. Well, I wanted to experience it.” In total, the retreat was attended by over 200 convicts. Christeen. Kottayam - India. Octubre 21 - 24. 2010 After a very long gap, Fr. James conducted a Generational healing (family tree)  retreat at Christeen, Kalathipady, Kottayam, Kerala for some selected group of about 200 people. As it is a new subject, the participants were very enthusiastic in hearing more and more about it and Fr. James did not get any rest at all from 21st to 24th.To avoid personal counselling, he asked each participant to write all their problems in a paper and when each one knelt before him, he prayed over them for their needs. The resting in the Holy Spirit was a new experience for the participants.In the past they had only heard about it, but did not have the experience. Many gave testimonies of healing and experiences of transformation and they requested him to come often to preach in Kerala. On 24th morning after the Holy Mass, Fr. James left to Cochin to fly back to Munich via Bombay.

Viseu  - Portugal. Octubre 2- 3. 2010 Fr. James conducted a retreat of two days at Viseu, Portugal on 2nd and 3rd of October. It was arranged at Pavilhao Multiusos de Viseu that belongs to the local Muncipality. About 1500 people attended the programme. Most of the people who attended were from Viseu. Those priests who came to the programme said that there were marvellous conversions in the confessions!. At the end of the programme, many came forward to give testimonies of healings and conversions. Many people at the end of the retreat asked Fr.James to return again to Viseu.

Oporto - Portugal. Septiembre 18 - 19. 2010 Por primera vez el P. James predicó un retiro de renovación en Oporto, Portugal del 18 al 19 de septiembre en el auditorio Da Casa de Vilar que fue anteriormente el seminario de la diócesis. Asistieron más de 1300 personas de toda la nación. Pero la mitad de la audiencia era del mismo Oporto. Dado que el sonido del auditorio era muy bueno, las canciones, la predicación y el restro del programa fueron muy bien. Todos los que asistieron al retiro se fueron alegres con la experiencia del derramamiento del Espíritu Santo.
